An Office Visit with Us

Our practice is committed to offering a safe, gentle, and high-quality dental experience for you and your family. We are sensitive your child’s needs as we know your child may feel anxious about visiting the dentist. Our goal is to make your child feel comfortable while visiting our practice by providing the best care possible.

Your first visit is all about your child's comfort, happiness, and health.

During your child’s first visit, we will review their dental and medical history forms and may take X-rays of their teeth. Depending on the age and comfort of your child, we may have one of our hygienists clean and polish their teeth. Dr. Jody will perform a thorough exam, checking for any cavities or early signs of tooth decay or gingivitis. She will discuss the findings on the X-rays and exam and help create an individualized plan for your child.

Bring your smile, but also remember to bring these with you to your child's first appointment:

  • Your completed patient information form
  • Your insurance card

Regular checkups are an important part of maintaining a healthy smile!

The American Dental Association recommends that children visit the dentist every six months for regular checkups and routine teeth cleanings to maintain their oral health.
We understand that your family has a busy schedule, so when preparing for a dental visit, please remember that an appointment typically lasts between 20 and 40 minutes.
